Maximize your chances for success! Whether your projects are personal or professional, large or small, a few fundamental skills can reduce the risk of failure and greatly improve your ability to manage and meet expectations. Classes may be taken individually, or a part of the certificate program. This program was developed with the support of local project management experts and is based upon the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK ®). BCC is a Project Management Institute (PMI ®) Registered Educational Provider (REP).

Classes provide a working knowledge of tools and techniques to deliver quality products on time and within budget, leadership and team building skills, plus techniques transferable across industries.

Program Format

  • Begin the program any quarter, based upon class and space availability
  • Complete the program at your own pace. Most participants finish in 3 quarters
  • Pay as you go—one class at a time

Prerequisites

Basic computers skills, ability to conduct research, and basic writing skills.

Certification Requirements

Completion of 150 hours of classes chosen from the lists below. All 150 hours must be taken at BCC. The Project Practicum class is taken after the required courses have been completed. It is designed to enable students to practice the skills they have learned by developing and completing an actual project.

Cost

Classes range in price from $69-$475. Most 15-hour classes cost $310. You may pay for classes individually as you complete the program.
